I was totally impressed by both the build and quality of these small bulbs. I have some under cabinet downlights in my kitchen and needed a replacement for my existing 20w G4 Halogen bulbs (which get incredibly hot and which either need replacing or lose their contact at regular intervals. They are also very fiddly to get in and out). The small size of these integral bulbs has allowed me to retain the existing fittings and the silicone construction means they are much easier to insert. The light quality is unbelievable. Side by side with the halogen bulb I could not tell the difference either in brightness or colour. An extra unexpected bonus is that they worked with the existing low voltage transformer (rated 20-60W) with no flicker or strobe effect. There is no discernible delay in the lights coming on either. I would highly recommend this product.
