5 Watt MR16 LED - 12v Low Voltage
12 V low-voltage LED MR16 bulbs (~5 W) you can use in GU5.3 fittings (common in spotlight or downlight circuits). These are ideal replacements for old 35 W halogen MR16 bulbs — they use far less power, run cooler and give long life.
Voltage: These lamps are 12V low voltage MR16 bulbs (GU5.3 base) — you must power them from a suitable 12V driver/transformer (not direct mains). Using the wrong transformer can cause flicker or failure. Equivalent output: Around 5W LED is similar brightness to ~35W halogen MR16 lamps but with far lower energy use.

Nice and bright, much better than halogens! Had to switch the driver to led version too.

Bought these replacement lamps as I have been meaning to do for a while but was always put off by the high prices. These really are great value for money, give as good a light as 50watt lamps and best of all are saving me money.
